HAND-PAINTED · FULL COLOR · DISPLAY-READY
Every finished piece is primed, then hand-painted in full color and stenciled to its original markings: body color, bands, fuze, and lettering. It arrives ready to display, not as a raw gray or single-color print.
Why paint matters: Most 3D-printed replicas are sold as raw PLA plastic. Unprotected PLA softens and can warp in heat (a sunny window, a hot car, or a garage in summer), and sunlight slowly makes it brittle and faded. Our primer and paint seal the surface and shield it from UV, so your piece keeps its shape, color and detail for years.
UNPAINTED · RAW PRINT
This option ships as a raw, unpainted print for you to finish yourself. Raw PLA can soften and warp in heat and turns brittle in sunlight, so give it a coat of primer and paint before you display it.
Want it display-ready? Choose the painted option: we prime it, hand-paint it in full color and stencil it to its original markings.
Full-size 3D printed display replica of the modern US 155mm M795 HE projectile (DODIC D529) topped with the M1156 PGK precision guidance kit fuze. Olive drab with yellow stencil (155H / TNT / PROJECTILE M795 W/SUPPL CHG / lot / D529), "INERT" stencil at the base, copper-tone rotating band and the brass-tone PGK with its canards, as shown. Group photos show it with our 105mm replicas (sold separately).
A standout piece for a fires unit, a battery or a retirement gift.
- 100% inert plastic display replica - no metal, no fill, nothing functional.
- Hand-painted in full color - raw PLA warps and goes brittle over time; paint protects it.
